How the ACC Works:

A real-time, smart motor controller that uses actual changing system temperature data to determine the best fan speed that balances with the air temperature for the most efficient air delivery to occupied rooms. Therefore the system does not need to run as often or for as long to maintain the desired temperature and saves over 30% in electrical energy.

Most HVAC systems have either a fixed speed motor or one that offers only two or three stepped speeds, controlled by a timer, and without the advantage of system temperature analysis. These motors are not smart and will not produce the same efficiency or cost saving results as the ACC.

The ACC’s patented Fan Idle Speed 

  • Eliminates the extremely high KW demand for electrical power due to “cold starts”.
  • Eliminates annoying cold starts and stops that can create mechanical noise, making it hard to sleep, read, watch T.V., and enjoy conversations with family and friends.
  • Continuously circulates air throughout the occupied rooms and eliminates hot and cold spots in the room and stratification of air.
  • Constantly circulating air helps reduce humidity for greater comfort and inhibits the build up of moisture in the system, as it mitigates the growth of system mold.

The ACC increase the mechanical efficiency of PTAC heating and air conditioning systems.

  • Improves EER rating: A typical PTAC with an EER of 10 can be upgraded to a new EER of 14 or greater.

        10,000BTU/700W = 14.3EER (With the ACC installed with a 30% reduction in energy consumption)

All OGD customers have the option of using the services of our financing companies that will arrange for low monthly payments, which will be less than the monthly energy savings. This option eliminates the need for upfront capital spending.

The Lease to Own plan offers a self-financing plan for purchasing the ACC. Monthly payments are generally about 50% of energy savings. Use the rest for other personal or business needs. 60 month Term: After the term is up, monthly payments stop and you save even more on energy costs each month.
